We all have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Ludwig Cancer Research community is doing its part to address the setbacks caused by this unprecedented global crisis. As part of that effort, and to ensure the wellbeing of our teams, the staff at our New York and Zurich offices have been working remotely to help limit the transmission of the coronavirus in our respective regions. Scientists at Ludwig Branches and Centers are following the guidance of their host institutions. It is during such challenging times that we are reminded of the vital importance of scientific and public health research. We remain confident that the scientists and physicians now on the front lines of the public health response will furnish a lasting solution to the unfolding pandemic. Until they do, we will adapt to the changes induced by this crisis—not least, the disruptions to ongoing research—and press forward in our commitment to ease the suffering caused by cancer.
